I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where I spent my winters attending Killington Mountain School in Killington, Vermont. It was there that I developed a love for skiing and athletic competition. After high school, I attended Green Mountain College and then Castleton State College, where I graduated in 2008 with a teaching degree and Bachelors in Social Studies. While in college, I was both a volleyball player and an alpine ski racer, balancing my academics with my passion for sports.
After graduation, I returned to Killington Mountain School, where I worked as a teacher and alpine ski coach. I also served as the Assistant Volleyball Coach and, later, Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Castleton University for four years. These roles allowed me to mentor student-athletes, foster teamwork, and share my love of sports with others.
In 2012, I transitioned to Berkshire Bank, where I’ve had the opportunity to grow in various roles, including Account Specialist, Mortgage Originator, and Financial Planner. This career shift has allowed me to build strong relationships with clients and help them achieve their financial goals.
In 2018, I married my wonderful husband, Nathan Matroeni, and in 2020, we were thrilled to welcome our daughter, Sophia, into our lives. Parenthood has been one of the most rewarding and joyful experiences, and we love watching Sophia grow and discover the world.
Outside of work and family, I remain passionate about skiing and giving back to our community. One of my greatest joys is teaching Sophia to ski, passing down the love of the mountains that has been such a big part of my own life. I’m also dedicated to giving back to my community and serve as a Board Member for the Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum and as the Treasurer for Christ the King School PTC.
Family is everything to me. Whether we’re traveling, cruising, skiing, hiking, or simply spending time together, I treasure every moment with my loved ones and embrace the adventures life brings.
